A prostitute was admitted into the ophthalmic wards of the Hôtel Dieu, with great weakness of sight, amounting almost to amaurosis. She confessed that she was in the habit of polluting herself, and that she was immediately seized with complete blindness, whenever she addicted herself to the practice. It is stated that unfortunately such cases as the preceding are not very unfrequent among the young people of the seminaries and colleges in France ! !
Não há dúvida que a culpa foi da punheta. Era mulher e prostituta. Que combinação mais explosiva para, juntando um prazer solitário, a fazer cegar. O pior parece-nos o prazer, não é ?
